Method
- Lightly coat the inside of a slow cooker with olive oil. Place the brisket in the bottom.
- Sprinkle the meat with the onion, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the chicken stock and water on top.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook until tender for 6–8 hours on low/
- medium heat, basting occasionally.
- Serve with large selection of sauteed greens and roasted peppers.
